Admissions are open for Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM-BE) 2014-16, Post Graduate Diploma in Management -Development Studies (PGDM-DS), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI). About EDI


EDI, started in 1983 as a pioneering institute for Entrepreneurship Development and Training in India and around the globe. EDI is a winner of United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship Award. EDI conducts several training programmes, implements projects for the state governments, central government and international organisations, and it offers two unique Post Graduate Programmes.



Courses Offered


1)Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM-BE) ( two years, full-time)

2)Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Development Studies (PGDM-DS) ( two years, full-time)

3)Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) (four years, full-time)

Eligibility & Selection Criteria for PGDM-BE


For Indian Nationals:

Eligibility:

  • Three-year University Degree in any discipline/Engineering / Technology / Medicine/ Other, recognised by the UGC/AIU/AICTE are eligible for Post Graduation
  • with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to the Reserved category)
  • Candidates still appearing for their final year examinations towards their Bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria:

  • The admission process consists of taking any of these tests—CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT.
  • Eligible candidates will be called for the Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test (EAT) and Personal Interview(PI).
  • EAT consists of two sets of tests designed to analyse behavioural predispositions like drive, initiative, general entrepreneurial tendencies, leadership, personality traits, etc.

For PIO/NRI/Foreign candidates:

Eligibility:

Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Selection Criteria:

  • Only GMAT scores
  • Short-listed candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview Process via teleconference.


Eligibility for PGDM-DS


Three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognised university/deemed university.


Selection Criteria for PGDM-DS


  • The admission process consists of taking any of these tests—CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT.
  • Eligible Candidates with valid scores will be called for EDI 'Social Awareness Test' and Personal Interview (PI). The EDI test will based on contemporary social and development issues, events and understanding of happenings around the world.


Eligibility for FPM


  • Two years Master's/Post graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 55% or CA/CS/CMA with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and a three-year Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidates with outstanding academic background, brilliance and strong desire to be the part of the academia/ industry/ research/consultancy, etc


Selection Criteria for FPM


  • Based on scores in CAT/GMAT/UGC-NET & JRF
  • Eligible Candidates with valid scores will be called for Entrepreneurship Research Aptitude Test (ERAT) and Personal Interview (PI)

You may fill and submit the application and pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- online on or before 17-05-2014.In case of difficulty in paying online you can send a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of EDI, payable at Ahmedabad, mentioning the name of the applicant and registration ID on the back side of the DD. or the amount can be deposited in your nearest branch of HDFC Bank or IDBI Bank, in below mentioned account.Once deposited in the Bank, the receipt of the same should be sent to the Email id: pgp@ediindia.org
