About Hindustan Aviation Academy
Hindustan Aviation Academy is one of the first institution to start aviation related courses. It was established in the year 1986 .This Academy managed by experts who are well experienced from defence, Academic and industry. All the courses offered by Hindustan Aviation Academy were approved by DGCA, Directorate of Technical Education - Govt. of Karnataka, AICTE, Banglore University, Karnataka University and Central University of Karnaka.

Aerospace Engineering:
Hindustan Aviation Academy, Bangalore offers a four year, eight semester Aerospace Engineering degree course from Central University of Karnataka, Gulbarga. The course syllabus is structured in such a way that the student has option to exit after two years with Advanced Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or continue for another two years for grant of B.Tech. Aerospace degree.Eligibility:
10+2 in Science stream having minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM or Equivalent and45% for SC/ST/PWD.Eligibility:

It is a two year programme. MBA programme provide intense classroom teaching, interactive programme, seminars, talk by eminent scholars and corporate CEO's.Eligibility:
Any Graduate with 50% marks.BBM – Business Management:
It is a three year programme. This course includes Business Management, Principles of Marketing, Business Environment, Computer Technology & programmes, Finance, MIS, Cost & Accounting Management, etc.Eligibility:
PUC/10+2/HSC (or equivalent).Diploma Courses:
A Student who has completed diploma can appear for selection for lateral entry in to B.Tech/B.E Second year directly. The benefit from this scheme is that a student would be studying almost all same subjects of diploma course with higher syllabus content. Hence students will be definitely in a better position to do very well as compared to a direct B.Tech/B.E entry after +2/PUC.
Eligibility:
- Pass in SSLC/10th Std/Equivalent examinations with 35% marks in Science and Math's subjects.
- Students having qualification other than Karnataka State Board have to apply for eligibility certificate from the Directorate of Technical Education(D.T.E), Government of Karnataka, Bangalore.
- Students belonging to SC/ST categories should produce original documents in proof as per Government of Karnataka notifications issued from time to time.
- Physical fitness certificate is required.
Guidelines for International Students:
Students need to procure a letter of admission (provisional) from the recognised colleges or institution, prior to applying for a student visas. Student visas can be obtained from any of the Indian Visa office by applying along with all the necessary documents. India offers various kinds of visas, depending on the purpose of visit. The student visa is a visa specifically for students who wish to come to India to pursue their education. Student visas are issued for the duration of the academic course of study or for a period of five years whichever is less, on the basis of letters of admission (provisional) from Universities/colleges or educational institutions in India. The children of NRIs and PIO card holders need not have to procure a student visa. Other international students will require a student visa. All international students staying in India for longer than 6 months are required to register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). Hindustan Aviation Academy provides high standard hostel facility for International Students.Documents Required for Foreign Students coming to India:
- Valid passport.
- Provisional admission certificate from a university or a college or institution.
- Proof of availability of sufficient funds for the duration of studies in India for self-financing or NRI students.
- Health certificate and AIDS-free certificate.
- Student Visa (not required for the children of Indian Diaspora).
- Proof of long term (at least three years)/permanent residence in the country Application.
- Photocopy of the passport and initial visa.
- Four photographs of the applicant.
- Details of residence in India.
- HIV test report from one of the who recognised institutions for people in the age group of 15 to 60.
- Provisional admission certificate from the university/college/institution.
- Proof of Bank Account/sufficient funds for non-scholarship students.

- Application with prospectus are also available at the Academy office on payment of Rs. 500/-. After receiving application form students as well as their guardians/parents are advised to study the prospectus. And Candidates should enclose the following along with the application:
- A registration fee of Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable) by demand draft in favour of Hindustan Electronics Academy, payable at Bangalore.
- 5 Copies of Original certificates, TC, mark sheet of the Qualifying examination.
- Conduct certificates.
- Six recent passport size colour photographs.
- Medical certificates; physical fitness and colour vision test.
- 5 years study certificate with B.E.O signature for Karnataka Students.
